I am a mother. For two reasons I could leave it at that. One, motherhood has defined me: I feel blessed to not only be the mother of two increcible kids, I feel blessed by the awakening this has caused inside of me, making me so much more aware of life, it's mysterious meaning, and a desire to leave a better world for my children. Two, much of my time is spent on my children: carting them to music, sports, and school events, making meals, cleaning and helping with homework keeps me busy in the week. And weekends, we love to be outside, watch movies, play games, and just spend time together.
Right now, I am unemployed, although I do help out at the small town feed store near us now and then.(The manager of the store, my friend, pays me with credit. So, you could say I literally work for chicken feed.) My occupations have been floral designer and caregiver to elderly persons in their homes. The latter being more rewarding, suprisingly.
I am also married, which helps out financially :-).
We have many pets: chickens, rabbits, turtles, fish, hermit crabs, fiddle crabs, a hamster, bearded dragon, hedgehog, budgie, and last but not least a black lab, my walking buddy.
